The Laboratory of Narrative Research (LNR) is a teaching and research unit that is part of the School of English at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. It has been designed to bring together scholars and researchers from across the humanities, the social sciences and other scientific fields who have a special interest in the workings and the politics of narrative production.

The Laboratory of Narrative Research (LNR) of the School of English, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, is organising an one-day symposium on its campus titled “Re-membering the Past: Cultural Memory and Public Humanities” on Friday 17 May 2024 (also to be livestreamed). Speakers from Greece and abroad will come together to discuss the role of cultural memory, digital archiving and oral storytelling in the field of cultural heritage and to trace the development of the public humanities in Greece today. The symposium’s working language will be Greek.
